KWASUKA SUKELA

Thursdays are themed Afrika My Heritage!

From eMgungundlovu, the city historically marked as the land where elephants gather, we discover, this spoken word artist and writer, Pretty Olifant. Kwasuka Sukela: PMB Got Love. Storytelling as a means of sharing and interpreting experiences; providing authentic cues in a social environment. Universal stories that bridge cultural, linguistic, and age-related divides. Stories which allow us to imagine new possibilities, connecting us with our environment, encouraging us to have respect for all life, value interconnectedness, and always work to overcome adversity.

This is where our story begins. Once upon a time PMB got love.

Our vision for Campaign Africa & Africa Global Radio, and everything I do, is to provide authentic narratives on Global Africa, which will inspire the next generation to be the change we wish to see, and ultimately contribute to transformational change in Africa.

Born on Africa Day in the year-themed “Open Skies for Africa”; I am a social activist within the Sub-Saharan cultural and creative industry.

For two decades I have innately collaborated with counterparts as well as social enterprises that resonate with my Pan-African vision.

In so doing, growing my reach across the continent, prompting me into creating systems and networks for African produce.
